Get to know Maddy Grace

Maddy Grace Wood has always had a deep love for the arts. From an early age, she knew her path would be rooted in music, entertainment and community, creating spaces where people can come together to celebrate expression, connection, and joy. Whether she’s organizing shows, running a box office, or engaging audiences with her natural hosting style, Maddy brings creativity, collaboration, and energy to everything she does.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry and a minor in Applied Music from Baldwin Wallace University, along with her current studies in Recording Arts and Technology at Tri-C, she is building a career that bridges technical skill with artistic vision. An aspiring producer and songwriter, Maddy is equally passionate about writing and creating music as she is about delivering seamless, inclusive live experiences.

Inspired by music, pop culture, fashion, and fueled by coffee, Maddy grounds her work in the value of community. Her goal is to combine her skills and passions into music and events that don’t just entertain but also uplift and connect people. She isn’t just following a path; she’s creating her own, one that is purposeful, creative, and driven by a genuine love for bringing people together.

 Maddy doesn’t just work behind the scenes—she thrives on stage as well.  Growing up she had a passion for music and always sees herself performing live in some capacity; whether that was professional or karaoke night. As a Music Trivia Host, she crafts original scripts and engages audiences with witty banter and deep-cut rock & roll knowledge. She also has experience in radio broadcasting, having worked as a DJ for WBWC: The Sting, where she curated playlists, developed marketing campaigns, and helped promote independent artists.

 Her experience in live entertainment operations is extensive. As the current Box Office Manager at TempleLive Cleveland, she oversees ticketing operations, manages cash reconciliation, and provides excellent customer service for touring acts. She’s also worked as a Tour Merchandise Associate for TempleLive Cleveland and as an Ancillary Team Member for Live Nation at Blossom Music Center. 

 Maddy Grace Wood has assisted marketing efforts, in professional settings like Tragic Hero Records and educational settings like WBWC: The Sting, where she designed campaigns and digital content as Promotions Director. She also supported Baldwin Wallace’s Music Industry Program as the Marketing Director for 2 years. 

 At Baldwin Wallace University, Maddy serves as the President of the Prism Concert Series, the largest performance group on campus, where she ensures that all applicants, regardless of background or experience, have a place to share their talent. Her dedication to accessibility in the arts started long before college; at just 16 years old, she volunteered as the Operations Director for a fundraiser that raised $90,000 in a single night to fund arts education in public schools throughout the Greater Sacramento area.
